Do I Need to Flip or Rotate My Mattress?
Do I Need to Flip or Rotate My Mattress?

Rotate your mattress once per month, for the first 6 months, then once every other month to ensure even performance.

Rotating is Recommended: Brentwood Home mattresses contain lofty filling materials like natural latex and/or memory foam, cotton and/or wool. These materials will compress slightly when you first start sleeping on your new mattress. In order to prevent body impressions, we recommend spinning your mattress (head to foot) once every month for the first six months. After the first six-months, rotating every other month will ensure even wear over the lifespan over the mattress.

Flipping is recommended for our Crystal Cove Mattress: As a dual-sided mattress, flip the mattress as needed to determine your desired side for comfort. Rotate as described above.

Do not flip our hybrid mattresses: Because the Hybrid Latex, Oceano, Cedar Natural Luxe, and Cypress (with optional hybrid) mattresses have an internal support coil system with pocketed innersprings as their support layer at the bottom of the mattress, it does not need to be flipped. (Only the top side of the mattress is for sleeping.) Because of the way these coil zones are arranged, as shown below, the mattress can be rotated without altering the performance of the zones.
