We developed a more sophisticated firmness rating system for all our Brentwood Home mattresses. To do so, we brought together mattress industry veterans, along with rookies, for a blind test for every version of each of our mattresses.

While everyone sleeps differently based on their personal preferences and sleep position, the results of these side-by-side comparisons were the consensus of how each mattress feels. The ratings give us a more accurate portrayal of the average experience. They fall across the spectrum, from a rating of 4.5 to a 7, on a scale of 1 to 10, with a 10 being the firmest.
